Tool: National Wastewater Surveillance System (NWSS)

Tool offers data to monitor infectious diseases through wastewater surveillance across the United States. The tool currently offers data to track COVID-19 and mpox. Wastewater monitoring data can help health departments identify outbreak trends early, direct prevention efforts to where they are most needed, and provide additional insight into disease spread alongside other public health surveillance data.
